Steps to Volunteering Project
METcic is part of a local partnership to provide
training to help people enter the workforce or improve their employment prospects.
We are offering a course to help you take the first step.>
Eligible students can study Volunteering Skills and Maths (Functional Skills)
from Entry 1 to Level 2, free.
You will learn what being a volunteer means, get some experience of it and brush up your maths.
It runs one morning a week from January to March 2015 at Strood Community Project.
It's for people who:
are over 19
are not earning a wage
have not already passed Level 2 Maths.
live in certain areas of Strood
